Great Friends, Food, Memories

I know this was like last weekend, i just got way way super crazy busy!
But last weekend, I traveled to Logan UT with my friend Kendra Ashcraft.
We went to Logan UT, to visit two of our very very good friend, Becca Huber and Kristen Bean, who are going to USU!
We left on Friday, got there around one, and went out to eat at Angie's (where the locals eat) and it was amazing!!!
We then went and met up with becca (who was at work). We went and visited some guy friends of becca and kristen's... where we met thier new roommate Matt (who is super nice and super cute!) we (becca, kristen, kendra, matt and i) then went to Costa Vida for dinner. Us girls were going to have a girls night and sleepover, but then we invited Matt... so he hung out for awhile, but ti was super fun!
So on Saturday, We did the whole tourist thing, went to Pepperigde Farms, and the Creamy Factory (which was closed, sad day) and the Sock Factory, and the Cheese Factory! That was so much fun that we came home and took a nap!
After our fabulous nap, we went to 2nd Dam and took some pretty awesome Friend Pictures! and then we went back to Angie's and Cleaned the Sink!!! basically its a ice cream eating challenge :D it took all four of us to eat it!
So then we went to an Institute party, at an Ice Skating Rink!
After that party, we were invited to what is called "The Dirty Thirty" its a thirty min dance party held in some guys garage and its not supposed to be dirty it just happens to rhymed with thirty! that was extremely fun! after that we went back to Becca's apartment, where we invited all her neighbors to what we called, a boyfriend roast! Becca and i took some stuff that had memories of past boyfriends, put it in a cardboard box.. and lit the whole thing on fire in the middle of her apartment parking lot!
Then on Sunday we had to come home.
Over all it was an amazing weekend I miss and love those girls sooooo much!

Totally WICKED Weekend!!!

I had THE MOST amazing weekend to date!
So, on Saturday, my mom and dad and I left at about six in the morning and drove to Utah.
We went shopping at Ikea, Ti Pan, Kholes, twas major fun!
Then dad took mom and I out to eat at Benihana's where they made our food right in front of you!
Then mom and I got the opportunity to see the most amazing musical WICKED!!!
It was so amazing! We both cried for most of it!
On Sunday, we took a trip to Heber Valley Girls Camp, where moms parents are serving a mission as one of the Camp Hosts! it was incredible to see them! I hadn't seen them since April when they left!!
It was a fabulous weekend and I cant wait for another one!!!

In the final days

Its been a couple of weeks since i wrote last!

There hasnt been alot going on.... untill this week!

Lately i have just been working and working and working!!!

On Wednesday I went to the Ice Caves with Taylor, Olivia and my Little Brother Kaden!

It was the FUNNEST thing in the whole world! we packed in some glow sticks, and when we got to the end, we broke them open and had a little dance party throwing the glowy stuff everywhere!! It was so fun to have some sibling time with my brother (without his friends(believe it or not he acts different around his friends than he does around his family)) 

Thursday Kaden got his mission call!!!! i cant believe he is actually old enough to go! Anyways, Kaden has been called to serve in the Albuquerque New Mexico English Speaking and reports to eh MTC December 12!

We are all very excited for him to go, but we are going to miss him, i know i am going to miss him a ton!! 

Anyways that is all i have for now!!!

Questions and Answers: Girl Version

So a friend of mine came up with 14 questions that we want to know from a guys prospective. I asked three guys who have completely different personalities and opinions. So each question will have three answers. REMEMBER they are opinions take them or leave them.

1. Do you think that the girl should offer to pay for a date every now and then?

          Guy#1- Yeah not the majority of the time but on occasion

          Guy#2- Occasionally... like 1 in 5/6?

          Guy#3- It depends on the situation generally the one does the asking should be prepared to pay, though the guy should generally try to pick up the lion's share in this case.

              

2. Is it normal to be texted for a date now? I still expect to be called or asked in person, but I sometimes wonder if I'm the only one.

          Guy#1- Called or in person

             Guy#2- Just for a date?  I'd be offended if I got a date refused just based on the fact that I asked with a text.

             Guy#3- I believe that calling or asking in person is the most appropriate way to do it, but sometimes texting can be appropriate in limited circumstances.             

3. Hair curled or straight?

          Guy#1- Straight

          Guy#2- Ummm. Depends on the face shape. You should know this, your a girl.

          Guy#3- Depends on the girl

4. Is it impossible for boys and girls to be just friends?

          Guy#1- Yes but from my experience some feeling are always there 

          Guy#2- Yes. Duh.

          Guy#3- It's very hard to go back to the friend zone after anything more intense has happened

5. Batman or superman?

          Guy#1- Superman

          Guy#2- Superman. But given a better choice X-23

          Guy#3-Batman

6. Chuck Norris or Sylvester Stallone?
          Guy#1- Stallone
          Guy#2- Stallone. But given a better choice Steve Irwin
          Guy#3- Chuck Norris

7. Do you think it's awkward to open up a girls door when she is getting out of the car?
          Guy#1- I open the door everytime
          Guy#2- When she's getting in, yes. When we're getting out, no
          Guy#3- No

8. Do you think that it is ok to break up with a girl in a round about way in which no words are said? (i.e. getting the sno shack girl's number whilst on a date with the person you are dating?)
          Guy#1- No either be straight foreword or you dont mean it
          Guy#2- No. That shouldn't even be a question. Who would do that?
          Guy#3- NO

9. PC or Mac?
          Guy#1- PC
          Guy#2- PC
          Guy#3- It depends on what your using if for graphic designing or programming, so either really, as it depends 

10. What is one thing that you wish girls did that would make them easier to understand?
          Guy#1- I have no idea
          Guy#2- I wish girls would tell us stiff to our faces. If you have a problem, tell us so we can fix it! Even if we're not dating, don't tell your girlfriends what's wrong with me. Tell me! how duh can it get? 
          Guy#3- Speak their minds clearly

11. What's the hardest part about dating from the boy's side
          Guy#1- Making sure you don't offend her and keeping it exciting
          Guy#2- Right now, the money.  But normally, just try to help with conversation starters.  I can only ask so many questions before I start to sound boring.

          Guy#3- Asking the girl out and trying to decide what things during a date really mean

12. Deep down inside, do you actually enjoy watching chick flicks that girl's make you watch?
          Guy#1- Eh. Somtimes
          Guy#2- Some of them. But A Walk to Remember is just stupid
          Guy#3- Depends on the movie

13. What are three big turn offs for you when you get to know a girl?
          Guy#1- Downing herself, Showing too much skin, and Not talking about problems
          Guy#2- First, telling me about a nerd you bullied (because you deserve a slap).  Second, how much you like horses (why do I live in Idaho?).  Third, telling me to build muscle (I try every day, stop being picky).

          Guy#3- Twilight, playing dumb and Twilight
    

14. Cookies or brownies?
           Guy#1- Brownies
           Guy#2- Tough Choice...Brrrrrownies. I think. GAH! How soft are the cookies?
           Guy#3- Depends on the day

Questions and Answers

Alright so I have had a couple Guy Friends ask me questions about girls, dating, relationships, breakups etc.. So this blog post is dedicated to those questions and my answers. Just FYI, these are MY opinions so you can take them or leave them! Enjoy!
Q: What do Girls look for in Guys?
A: Well, Girls are looking for guys who are fun to be around, who have standards and are hard workers, and is good looking. 
Q:What can guys do to get better indications of why girls like them or do like them? 
A: DO NOT over think things. If a girl is talking to you and expresses how much she enjoys being with you, then that probably means she like you. If she rather be with you and likes doing the same things, then she probably likes you! And if all else fails, LISTEN!!! 
Q:How to behave on a date?
A: Be a gentleman. open doors, be polite, and most importantly BE YOURSELF! She wouldn't be out with you if she didn't like your personality!
Q:How do you do a DTR?
A: Well, you just have to sit down with the girl in question, Express your feelings about her and where you are hoping this relationship leads. Ask her what her feelings are, and where she thinks the relationship is headed. If she says she needs to think or pray about it, then give her time. Be PATIENT. DO NOT rush her! 
Q:If you break up with a girl and you're still friends, is it acceptable to ask what I did wrong?
A: Yes, you do. You have the right to know what you did wrong so that in the future you don't make the same mistake. Every relationship you learn something new, that will help you in future relationships. So if you guys are still friends, then she shouldn't have a problem with telling you what went wrong!

So that is all the questions I received thus far. I will answer more if they are given.

Healing Hearts, New Friends, and New Beginnings

I have done alot of soul searching this week and these are my conclusions:

My heart is finally healing. I feel like I can move on with my life. I can be my own person, I can laugh and cry and jump up and down, and just be me. A a new me. A me that is stronger and better than ever. This song helped me alot though the past few weeks.

So I found some new friends!! and they are awesome! You know, its good that I am meeting new friends and that I am able to do that!! 

And as for New Beginnings, I feel like I have a fresh start. Let me just give you a rundown: Since my breakup, I found out I have enough scholarships that I don't have to pay for my tuition or books this fall/winter track! I have enough money saved up to pay for an apartment for fall semester, and just recently, I found a job that works with my school schedule so I can work and go to school! I am so blessed, and I am so grateful for all that I have been given~

Parade, Fireworks, Drunk People... & Hope

Yes I know, its a odd title! Lets start at the beginning:
The 4th of July Parade: so Wed. was the 4th of July!!! Happy Independence Everyone! So I went to the Parade in Rexburg, It was sooo fun much! my cousin Taylor was in it. 
Holy Fireworks: So when we were on our trip back East, we stopped at the World's Largest Firework Werehouse and he bought about 100 bucks worth of fireworks! So lets just say, our fireworks show was AMAZING!!!
Now as for the drunk people.... So I went and played night games with one of my friends. And we went to Idaho Falls Tauphus Park. So we got there and there were some other groups of teenagers, who were drunk and probably high, but we ignored them. So when we started playing a game, this one kid came over and asked if we could watch his long board, he was drunk out of his mind, and we said we would. But then he came back a few minutes later and asked if our group was mormon, we said we were, and then he said he would leave so that he wasnt a bad influence to us, cause apparently he was LDS for 14 years and then got into some bad influences, so then he left. Then we started playing again... but then we all got this really bad feeling about there, so we left and finished our games in Iona Park!
And as for the last one... HOPE
We all need a little hope. I feel that I am moving on from my break up, I will remember the good times and how much fun we had. but I want my life to move on, so i am moving on.

Then Life Comes Caving In

Well it has been several weeks since i blogged last. Here is what happened:
We got back from our trip on Wed. June 14th.
The trip was sooo fun! I loved it, I'm so glad i went.
We spent three days in Navoo, which was so fun! We got to go do baptisms in the Navoo Temple.
Then we went to NC to visit mom's brother Whitney and his Beautiful family! we were there for a couple days. We then took two days and went to SC and went to the beach and a plantation and to Fort Sumnter. Oh and to the Aquarium. it was totally wicked!!! We then we were on our way home (we drove all the way BTW) we stopped in CO and visited my sisters. We went to Eliches Amusement park, which also had a water park in it. So we went on some rides But it was sooo hot so we went to the water park. And when we got there, my sister Haily and I "Stole" our dad and had some daddy daughter time, it was really fun.
We then came home on Wed.
Then Thursday is where it all went wrong. I am sorry to say that my boyfriend, McKay, and I broke up.
I guess it just wasn't working, or something like that. Right now (yes it has been a little over three weeks since we broke up) but i am still heart broken, I don't know what im doing, I feel lost. And I know there are people out there that are there for me, and I really appreciate it, i really do, I just need to figure out my heart on my own. And I have no clue how to do that.
But I know the Lord is with me. And I know I have messed up in the past. And I know HE will help me.
I just have to let myself forgive McKay and Myself, and rememeber that i am a child of God and he loves me.
Well that is what has happened, So I hope I can move on. But I dont know when that will happen

Holy Cow! I Forgot I Had A Blog!!!

Why hello everyone!!! 
So I have been super busy and totally forgot about this whole blog deal, but I will sum what what has happened since I last wrote!
First: My baby brother Kaden, has now graduated from Seminary and High School, and he can put in his Mission Papers July 22. I am so proud of him!!!
And Second: My parents decided, that for a last horrah, we (parents, Kaden and I) would be going back East for two weeks! So that is where I am right now! this post is going to be short, the the next one, which will be at the end of the trip, will be super long, packed full of super awesome details of what we did!!!

Imma...... Cop Magnet?

This week has been CRAZY! I think i'll just go through my week. And here we go:

So, On Monday, went to FHE, played Scum, won almost every time. (Little did they know was that my 2nd Semester I played at least 40 hours of Scum with my then FHE Bros) Then I went to ZUMBA!!!! that was so fun! I loved it!!! 

Then Tuesday, I went to Institute, where I was asked to be the Institute Prez. for the summer. Then after Institute my friend Becca and I went for a run at the high school soccer fields, we got half way around and decided to turn back, cause we got spooked. So right as we turned back, we saw this car right by Becca's car, so she shouted at the person (she had all her stuff from college in her car). Well, turns out it was a cop, who spotlighted us as we ran all the way back to her car. We didn't get a ticket cause Officer Packer ran Becca's plates, and apparently her dad was his scout leader when he was younger.

Wednesday, I think the only thing exciting that happened was that McKay and Jordan and myself went swimming. Rexburg Housing (where McKay is a maintenance man) has two swimming pools, which McKay has access to. We went to one pool, which was recently cleaned and the water was brand new FREEZING COLD. I didn't know that till McKay picked me up and threw me in. We then went to the other pool, which was much warmer, but so much more chlorine. 

I didn't do much on Thursday so its hardly worth mentioning.

Friday was fun, went to work, then went and hung out with McKay and Jordan. We went to Taco Bell, and then watched Youtube Videos. I then promptly fell asleep at about ten, and woke up two mins before midnight. I was on my way home, and guess what!? Yes, i got pulled over by a cop. He told me I was swerving in between the lanes. He then asked me if I was drunk, or if I had been drinking. I told him no, that i was tired and had allergies. He asked to see my Licence and Registration, and then he ask if my Dad was Russ, I told him yes, he said, "Oh okay, your almost home, I'll let you off with a warning"

So that was my week and it was very fun filled... I must be a cop magnet. Thats all for now!!! TTFN    

What The... Canoe!!??

ITS SUMMER!!!!!!
Or it sure as heck feels like it
This past weekend was so much dang fun!!! I loved every minute of it! 
Happy Mothers Day to all those mothers and soon to be mothers out there!!! 
So on Sat. I went canoeing with McKay, Jordan, and Paul. We thought it was going to be a hour- hour and a half ride... boy were we wrong!! It took Three hours. yes THREE!!!! We set out behind Jordan's house, and floated all the way down to Beaver Dick Park. we had to walk a ways to the push off point, it was very muddy and I kept falling and my knees are all scratched up. But it was super fun and i got a sunburn, which had turned to a tan by Sunday. then we went out for Pizza, and then just sat and talked for a couple hours, I have to admit, I did fall asleep, but hey, it was worth it.
Then, on Sunday, I went with McKay and his family, to his sister, Leena, little boy's baby blessing. it was super fun to see his family, i love all his little nieces and nephews. I then went to my own College Ward, where i am a RS secretary, i have a feeling its going to kick my butt, but i can do it!! Then i came home and spent the night with my family, it was so much fun!!! 
Since my little canoeing trip, i am SO FREAKING SORE!!!! McKay says it is good for me and that i will build muscle... but its so hard!!!! So we decided he is going to put me through "boot camp" and i dont know what that means so... we will see if i live to write a blog post next week.

Crazy Busy Amazing Awesome

It has been a crazy couple of days! Goodness where to start....... Oh, i know!!!
Ok, so on Saturday, McKay, Jordan, Paul, and myself were bored and so we decided to go doing something. We ended up at the Dollar Store, where we bought six kites, and about 135 glow sticks. We then went up to the college and flew the kites, we got one (it was a shark kite, so his name was Bruce) way up there, like three full kite strings up. we then tied it off and left it flying. We went back to McKay's house and broke all 135 light sticks and it was so fun!!! had a light stick fight then played pick up sticks with them while listening to scary stories.
Then tonight, it was Mr. SF 2012, which Kaden (little brother) was crowned Mr. SF. I am so proud of him!!! and yes, half of his wardrobe he wore tonight, came our of my closet.... But i am Glad he won. His winnings were: tickets to prom, a keepsake corsage, a very pretty pink crown, a blanket and 30 dollar gift certificate to the place where he works.
 Overall, It has been a great week so far we will see what happens with the rest of the week! have fun and love the sun!!

Bit of This, Some of That

Okay, i know not what to write about. so i'm just going to start rambling and see where it leads me.

Well first off, on Mon. i went to FHE in my new ward, it was very fun. but i had to park in a Apt. Complex, which didn't have their visitor parking clearly marked. So when i came out to my car, what do i find? A bright orange sticker on my drivers side window, and a boot on my tire. It kinda made me upset, so i called the guys to come and get it off. When they got there, i gave them some good natured hassle. I then finished off that night at Big J's with Jessie and Kiah. they made it all better. 

Second, I have decided that i am going to go to school in Utah, I want to go to the Utah College of Massage Therapy. it is a 7 and a half month program, and i will be able to pay off my debt in like six months of graduating. i am scared to leave home and McKay, but i am being a big girl, and can do it. and McKay wont be too far away, he has decided to go to UTI in Arizona. 

Third, i have had this song stuck in my head, and i want to get it stuck in your head! enjoy!!

I am loving me some blessings! I just feel extremely grateful for my life. I am grateful for my family, Mom, Dad, Justin & Kjerstin, Boston & Chloe, and yes even Kaden. I am grateful for my friends. I am grateful for my loving boyfriend. I am grateful for my two wonderful jobs, and also grateful for my car that hasn't broken down yet! I am very grateful for my testimony and for the gospel and everything!!! I just feel so blessed lately. Thank you everyone for being apart of my life. I am truly blessed!

Loving me some Sunshine!

This weekend was pretty amazing! My Boyfriend, McKay, and I took a impromptu trip to Utah on Sat. and Sun. we went down for his cousin's missionary homecoming. We stayed with his sister, DeNell, and her family! we just had a relaxing day, rode the 4-wheeler, and made snow cones, then went to Carl jr's (Which was very very yummy) and then watched the movie Tower Heist.
On Sunday, we went to his cousin, Joseph, homecoming, then went and met the family after and then came home! it was so dang fun, and so dang hot!!!!

Best Weekend Ever!

Ok i know i haven't written for awhile, this post is suppose to be about last weekend. I've just been super busy!
BUT.....
 Last weekend was amazing!!!! Friday, i had a Vampire Diaries marathon. and on Saturday, i had a girls night, with girls that will remain nameless, we went to Big J's and then to Coco Bean (which now makes ice cream, which is super yummy) then watched a movie. While we were watching the movie, we talked about doing something really crazy and out there.... So we may or may not have gone Skinny Dipping at midnight.... thats for you guys to decide, have a fantastic, wonderful day/night.

Wow!!! i am a whopping 20!!! holy cow i am old!
I had a great birthday, went to work, got my hair and nails done, went to dinner, treated myself to a new pair of shoes and earrings!

wait.... its Monday.... aw dang there are still three days till my Birthday!!! oh well i can do it!
I thought General Conference was very good. I felt like some of the talks were directed towards only me, which is the point right? Anyways, had a lovely birthday bash with the family. I am having some relationship complications, which will be worked out soon, never fear! anyways that is all i have to say for today! remember, happy monday!

General Conference Weekend!!

Hello! i know i know, second blog post in two days, weird, yes.
BUT..... tomorrow is the start of General Conference Weekend!!!
I am so excited to listen to the apostles and prophets and gain a stronger testimony.
There are so many good inspirations that come from conference. i am ecstatic!!! (Not how many of these !!! i type)
My plans for conference weekend??? you would think, by how excited i am, i was actually going to Utah for Conference..... you would be wrong.
In fact, i am going to listen to Sat. Conference with my mother, at home, while putting her Christmas Village Houses away.... she decided since it was April, they better come down....
and then on Sun. i am staying home with my family, and watching conference. Then for the second session, my brother and his family, my g-parents, my wonderful cousin, and her friend (who is also awesome), and my amazing boyfriend, McKay, are coming up, because after Conference, we are have a Triple Birthday Bash. for my Brother, whose birthday was on March 25, Me, cause my B-day is on April 5, and my G-pa, whose b-day is on April 8.
I love my family!!! Happy Conference Weekend!!!

New Beginnings

Well, hello everybody!
I, like so many others, have decided to write a blog.
I have no clue what i am going to write about, but im going to give it a whirl,
So here we..... GO!!!
In a week from today, i will be turning 20 years old! holy cow that freaks me out just a little. but i will not be a teenager anymore, and the way i see it, turning 20 is a new beginning. so we will see what happens.
That is all i have to say for tonight! good night everybody!!
